Apple has announced that it will roll out its AI-powered features to the public starting in October, according to a statement on its official website.

The first wave of AI features, known as Apple Intelligence, will be introduced with upcoming updates for eligible devices. These include iOS 18.1 for iPhones, iPadOS 18.1 for iPads, and macOS Sequoia 15.1 for Mac computers.

These updates will bring AI capabilities to iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all models of the iPhone 16 series. However, they will not be available on older iPhone models. Additionally, the AI features will be accessible on iPads and Mac devices equipped with M1 chips or later.

The AI tools users can expect include text generation, summarization, grammar correction, and style enhancement. Siri, Apple's personal assistant, will see improved natural language understanding and task execution capabilities. Other features include the ability to record phone calls, transcribe and summarize them, quickly remove unwanted elements from photos, search for images using natural language, summarize notifications, improve notification management, and suggest replies in messages, among other enhancements.

Initially, Apple Intelligence will only be available when the device and Siri are set to English, and these features will be marked as “Beta” even in the final versions of the updates set to launch next month.

Apple also mentioned that it plans to support additional languages by next year, including Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish. However, there was no mention of Arabic at this time.
